Kimberly has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pittsburgh. After acting both on stage and as a voiceover artist in Pittsburgh, Belfast, and Chicago, Kimberly and her husband Rich moved to Colorado in 2009 to begin Arts in the Open, formerly Theatre-Hikes Colorado. Kimberly couldn’t imagine a more receptive place for Arts in the Open’s mission of bringing the performing arts to the great outdoors.
After many years of teaching theatre and writing plays for Kindergarteners through sixth graders (Kidstage), Kim and Rich settled down and had twin girls, Ruby and Ophelia, and their son Oscar. She now works as a Research Assistant for Noetic Search, an executive recruitment firm for nonprofits and lives in Denver with her family. Happy hiking!
